Urban intervention (dimensions: building facade 6 x 12 m)
Materials: tulle textile, string, scaffold
Mini Ginza, Tokyo, Japan, 10.30 – 11.3, 2010
A big window was designed to observe the moving shape of wind as an urban intervention. A transucent curtain sized 6m x 18m was installed to cover the façade of a car showroom located on the main aenue in Ginza for five days to offer a landscape of wind to random passers-by sometimes offering a tunnel of wind. The curtain was as big as 100sqm and as light as 300g. This made it possible for even the smallest wind to create the most dynamic movement. *Work credited with the artist’s own interdisciplinary studio Assistant.
