SPHÈRES 5, Le Moulin, France, 2012.
For the occasion of SPHÈRES at Le Moulin, Megumi Matsubara brought two projects that interact with each other.
“A proposal for a textbook to learn Braille, English, and other languages” is a series of photography consisting of the images of sculptures made by blind children. It suggests a book that stands between the seeing and the nonseeing. A room for the colour blind is a site-specific installation dedicated to the space of Le Moulin to communicate about, and further explore her recent approach to the visible/invisible space.
