In Residence | L’Art Rue | Tunisia

Avec le soutien chaleureux de l’association l’Art Rue, Megumi Matsubara a établi son premier pas en Tunisie. Elle était en résidence d’immersion à l’Art Rue pour découvrir et se nourrir de la médina de Tunis et plus. Elle est une bénéficiaire de la bourse de la Fonds Roberto Cimetta.

Salzburg Global Seminar | Parks for the Planet – Nature and Childhood | Austria

Megumi Matsubara participated in Salzburg Global Seminar, and discussed the theme “Parks for the Planet – Nature and Childhood: From Research and Activism to Policies for Global Change” ~ Session 608

The Parks for the Planet Forum is a ten-year collaboration to reconnect people and nature in a urbanized world. Launched in 2015, it aims to improve human and societal wellbeing by expanding access to nature-rich urban spaces, increasing investments in urban conservation, and creating dynamic partnerships between people, cities, and protected area systems.

In Residence | l’Institut français – Cité internationale des arts | France

Megumi Matsubara is in residence at Cité internationale des arts, Paris, France through three months, upon invitation by Institut Français, and in partnership with La Graineterie Centre d’art municipal de la Ville de Houilles.

Megumi Matsubara is currently at a 3-month residency at Institut Français de Fès.
The residency will be followed by an exhibition at Le Musée Batha and Fès Medina as part of the 6th edition of Rencontres Internationales de la Photo de Fès in December 2012.
